Lexington Road Press takes its name from the road where America began to fight for itself — and from a family that was there when it happened.
On the morning of April 19, 1775, along the road between Lexington and Concord, Daniel Townsend gave his life covering the escape of his kinsman Thomas Townsend — the direct ancestor of the press's founder. One man stood so another could go on. The line continued because of it.
